As you know, my name is Tracy.

I was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to two wonderful people. The big sister to two siblings, a brother and a sister, we were raised in a rural small town outside of Montreal, until I was 9, when we moved to Calgary, Alberta.

After High School, I went to University {Athabasca/MRU} for my Undergrad in English with a minor in Psychology. My mother passed away in 2005, and I went through an intense phase of questioning my life and my goals, and dabbled in lots of different jobs. I was an accounting assistant {still am!}, I was an Event Manager for a Haunted House business for four years, and I eventually happened upon Teaching Preschool. Which. I. Loved.

After four years of Preschool teaching, I took a break to take on a steadier, and overall better paying gig back as an accounting assistant while my then boyfriend {We’ll call him Mr. B} was finishing up his education. Mr. B and I were homeowners, we had responsibilities! Mr. B graduated with his Red Seal & Journeyman Certificates in Automotive Service, and I… I went back to teaching part-time, and enrolled myself in further Early Childhood Education.

While all of this was happening, Mr. B asked me to be Mrs. B, and we planned a wedding in 6 months on a tight budget. A lot of my dollar saving projects were handmade, and I truly discovered just how much I love to craft. I did kind of always know… but it wasn’t really apparent until my living room had thrown up wedding and I was still going hard!

I am starting this blog as a way to share some of the ideas I have {but don’t have time to bring to fruition} as well as some of the ideas I turn into projects. I love scouring the internet to find “the perfect” font {that is FREE!} and craft ideas galore. Pinterest is great and all, but it doesn’t really allow me to share what *I* did. So this is me. Here I am.

Let’s Do This.
